Fitness Classes

In the summer months and with so many amazing parks located centrally in Edinburgh there is no excuse not to do a few classes outdoors.  My Fitness Classes are a great add on to your run training to help improve your general fitness as well as work key muscle groups to enhance your running efficiency.  You don’t need to be a runner to join the classes as they are full body workouts and a great way to meet up with others to have a good workout.

Each class is different but you get the best out of it with what you add to it.  If you are looking for a tough session, it’s there if you want it.  However, if you’d rather take it a bit easier, there are alternative exercises available for you to workout according to your needs.

There will be 2 classes per week.

Fitness Class Pricing

  • Outdoor Class: £5 per 45min session
  • Weekly Classes: £8.50
  • Fortnightly Classes: £15

A booking link will be provided once classes re-open. But please get in touch if you would like more information

What do you need?

1. Your own mat or towel

2. Water bottle

3. Wear warm clothing to get you to and from the class.

I will provide disinfectant spray, paper towels and hand sanitiser for any equipment that may be used.

Summer 2020

Currently the outdoor classes are not happening, due to the current lockdown restrictons.  However, once the Scottish Government makes any changes I will be ready to announce the start of the classes.  If you would like to be kept up to date with the changes, please sign up to the newsletter and I will notify you as soon as I am ready to start again. Please be aware that classes will mostly likely be limited to small groups so availability will be limited.  

Online Classes

Currently I am offering online Zoom classes from the comfort of your own home whilst restrictions are in place.  These classes are for women only.  They are all bodyweight exercises, occassionally adding in Minibands or using a chair but these are optional.  Mon, Wed, Fri are led by me (Lynette) and on Tue/Thu we have Aude who is a newly qualified yoga instructor taking us through her Yoga Flow with a focus on what runners need.

Mon: 07:30 / 18:00 – 30min Full Body Workout

Tue: 18:00 – 30min Yoga with Aude

Wed: 07:30 / 18:00 – 30min Full Body Workout

Thu: 18:00 – 30min Yoga with Aude

Fri: 07:30 – 30min Full Body Workout

Bruntsfield Links

We meet at Bruntsfield Links on WhiteHouse Loan.  There is easy parking there and plenty of space for everyone to workout.  It is also a handy location to head for a coffee at Castello Coffee afterwards before the day gets underway.
