      <image:caption>Running has been a catalyst of change for me. It has been my motivation for wanting to progress and to achieve, as well as giving me the freedom to explore and seek adventure. Running gave me the confidence to seek a new direction and focus in my life. Seeing the confidence levels rise in the women I coach, as well as the connections being made and goals being realised, are what keep me striving to be a better and more informed coach.  My purpose as a coach is to inspire and motivate others to explore their own possibilities. Running and strength training can teach us so much about our mental and physical endurance and how we cope under stress and pressure, which translates into our daily lives. My clients work with me to help them to improve their running technique and efficiency, to help them build strength and core stability to run further and longer. I create specific individualised plans to keep them working towards creating good daily habits so that they can reach their goals and beyond. Training with me is purely focused on your needs, whether you want coaching in running, strength or both as part of an overall fitness package. I split my time between training at Adapt Fitness in the daytime and group training through We Run Edinburgh in the evenings and weekends.</image:caption>

We firmly believe that’s how exercise should feel. The group was born of a love for the city and the women who run in it. Whether you are a PB chaser or starting out, everyone has their reason to run.  We want to run stronger, happier and confident and together as a group it is possible when we support each other to reach our goals.       <image:title>TRAIN WITH ME - RUN COACHING</image:title>
      <image:caption>I have been running for 10+ years and found a real love for encouraging and motivating others to give it a go.  Running is not easy and although we feel that it should be instinctual to be able to put on a pair of trainers, head out the door and go for a run it’s doesn’t always work out that way. There is so much to consider with running; your posture, breathing, and technique. All of this makes up your running efficiency, where you use energy less by running better and even faster. Coaching starts with a wee chat, arranging an initial session where we go over the basics; a dynamic warm-up, technique and posture analysis and what we can work on together in the weeks and months ahead. There is no pressure to run a particular pace or distance. It is your session and I want you to get the most out of it to help improve your running and reach your goals.</image:caption>

      <image:title>TRAIN WITH ME - TRAINING PLANS</image:title>
      <image:caption>The training plans that I create are tailored specifically to each person.  I have been creating my own plans since I started running and signing up for races.  I couldn’t get a pre-made race plans from magazines or websites to work for me, so I would take the main elements and put it in to a plan that worked around my work/life responsibilities and it worked. Now that I understand training volume, intensity, progression, consistency and rest I can create bespoke plans that consider your training availability, work/life balance, holidays, expectations and what the needs of your training are to help you achieve your goals. It all starts with a wee chat about what you want to achieve, the timescale you want to work to and how we get you there.</image:caption>
