We all have our reasons for running and working out, but ultimately everyone wants to feel stronger and more energetic on a day to day basis.

Life has a variety of responsibilities and commitments thrown at us and if anything is going to drop down the list of “To Dos” it is probably most likely your personal time to concentrate on what you need.

I am here to provide you with a plan that focuses on you, helps you stay consistent with your goals and habits, that is bespoke to you and takes in to consideration your work/life balance.

TRAINING PLANS

The training plans that I create are tailored specifically to each person.  I have been creating my own plans since I started running and signing up for races.  I couldn’t get a pre-made race plans from magazines or websites to work for me, so I would take the main elements and put it in to a plan that worked around my work/life responsibilities and it worked.

Now that I understand training volume, intensity, progression, consistency and rest I can create bespoke plans that consider your training availability, work/life balance, holidays, expectations and what the needs of your training are to help you achieve your goals.

It all starts with a wee chat about what you want to achieve, the timescale you want to work to and how we get you there.

 

RUN COACHING

I have been running for 10+ years and found a real love for encouraging and motivating others to give it a go.  Running is not easy and although we feel that it should be instinctual to be able to put on a pair of trainers, head out the door and go for a run it’s doesn’t always work out that way.

There is so much to consider with running; your posture, breathing, and technique. All of this makes up your running efficiency, where you use energy less by running better and even faster.

Coaching starts with a wee chat, arranging an initial session where we go over the basics; a dynamic warm-up, technique and posture analysis and what we can work on together in the weeks and months ahead.

There is no pressure to run a particular pace or distance. It is your session and I want you to get the most out of it to help improve your running and reach your goals.

Personal Training

1-2-1 TRAINING

In the heart of Leith, our We Run Edinburgh Run Strong Studio is the perfect space to dedicate some time to your own physical growth. Small but perfectly formed the studio has a great selection of equipment to challenge you and see progression happening.

My personal training sessions focus on full body strength, stability and coordination, to help you become a more efficient and stronger runner. All sessions are catered to your needs and goals.

CANCELLATION POLICY

TRAINING PLANS

Once a plan has been purchased, you will have 48hrs before the start date to receive a full refund.  However, once you have received your first 4 weeks of training there will be no refunds in full or in part.  The plans are non-transferrable to another person.

Should you wish to delay the plan to refocus on a different goal or event you will have up to 12 weeks from the previous start date to redeem a new plan.

SESSIONS

Sessions and 1-2-1 packages are valid from the date of the first session. You will then have 2 months to use the sessions, any sessions after that will be forfeited. For each session you can cancel or rearrange providing that 12hours notice is given. It will be at Lynette’s discretion whether a session can be rearranged if cancelled within the 12 hours prior to the session starting.

Please understand that as an individual offering a personalised service I have to consider the longevity of my career and livelihood, however I want to be as helpful and supportive to you as much as possible.
